Field Crew Positions​

We are hiring! Seeking committed, motivated, hardy folks that want to join our ecological restoration team -- tree planters and restorationists.

This is great job if you're the right fit.

It's a labor position where the work is physically demanding, production-oriented, and fast paced. It however is not a mere grunt position as the work is highly rewarding within a supportive company. We expect you to be bright, independent, adaptable and quality-oriented! Be prepared to be on the road traveling, working 10-12 hours/day, 6 days/week as a crew in all weather conditions, seasonally. We have created a working environment and culture that facilitates personal growth and long-term commitment. It’s a lifestyle of working hard as a team for stretches of time but with nice breaks that allow for self-care and whatever you like to do for fun in your off-time. We work across the Intermountain West on an assortment of projects including revegetation, reforestation, riparian restoration, channel construction, wildlife habitat conservation, wetland mitigation, and mine reclamation. Specifically, we’ll be planting native seedlings, collecting and installing willow cuttings, building wildlife exclosures, installing browse protectors, conducting brush-saw mastication, carrying out low-tech process based restoration including: BDAs, PALs, Zeedykes and hand-built in-steam structures, collect native seed, seeding, salvage plants and sod, implementing erosion control strategies, constructing soil lifts, and installing weed suppression materials.

The work is very challenging but there is nothing more rewarding than bringing life back to this planet with your own two hands.

A background in natural resources, ecology, botany, nursery work, construction, carpentry or equipment operation is helpful. We will consider people with varying skills and levels of experience. No degree required

Our field crew positions are long-term, seasonal and with living wages that allow you to feel good about what you do. Compensation includes a solid base wage, plenty of over-time, per diem, and travel pay. The company provides all transportation, lodging, and tools. Other potential benefits include Simple IRA match, HSA (health savings account) and job-attached unemployment.
